First launch
Open the .dmg and drag iCore onto the Applications alias.
Open iCore from Applications — it's notarized by Apple, so it just opens (at most a one-time "downloaded from the internet — Open?").
First run walks you through setup and downloads your model + creates your keys. Reopen it anytime from Spotlight (⌘Space → "iCore") or the Dock.
For continuous WhatsApp Desktop indexing, optionally enable iCore in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access. Add iCore from Applications if needed, then quit and reopen it. Without this, macOS asks for access again each launch.
Your data stays under your control. Full Disk Access is a broad permission for the local iCore app to read protected files, including files beyond WhatsApp. It does not upload them. iCore indexes only sources you connect and allow; your private index, encrypted vault and personal learning stay on your Mac. Sending content through an external service requires a separate action and permission. Touch ID unlocks your vault once per launch; macOS file permissions are separate.

Flip on the network at setup and your iCore joins HiNet — it shows up on the map and can do what no single model can:
Ask past your own knowledge. When a question needs expertise your iCore doesn't have, it finds the iCores that do.
A quorum forms on the fly — the most relevant iCores assemble into an ad-hoc committee for that one question, then dissolve.
Their answers are synthesized into one — a mixture-of-experts response bigger than any single mind, attributed to who contributed.
Sovereign by default. Others' iCores answer from general expertise only — your private data never leaves your Mac, and the network stays off until you switch it on.
